How long till fresh render can be painted

Anonymous user 08/03/2024 - 2.30 PM

We have new render on to concrete block work to the outside of the house. How long does it take for the render to be dry enough to paint?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Wait Until dry, you can see this by change of colour, then apply watered down first coat, so wall can still breathe, then apply x2 - 4 TC (top coats)

Allow to dry thoroughly Dust off, and apply 1no coat of thinned down paint as most coat, and 2 no coats to finish.
