Mould in spare bedroom wallsl

Hi there in my spare room I seem to get damp/mould coming through the wall, not sure how to make this better as it does get really bad then it will go again but it's a on going thing, Thanks Liam

Hi Liam It's sounds like a condensation issue the best solution would be to install a positive ventilation system in the loft.

Hi Liam, Mould will only grow on moisture that is created internally, so the problem will be condensation rather than moisture ingress. The cure to condensation and mould is finding the correct ventilation solution. Air bricks, trickle vents, anti-mould paint, dehumidifiers etc. only provide a short term solution, and in some instances (usually air bricks) can make the problems worse.
