low flush toilet wont stop filling up

My toilet after flushed it, it wont stop refilling there water constanly coming out of it in the system. can anyone help me please

either your ball valve has failed and water is escaping via overflow or you flush mechanism is stuck open so water is filling and emptying at the same time, lift cistern lid and see if its full of water (then its your ball valve) or it will be almost empty this will be your flush mechanism (push button flush)
