Kitchen Fitting

which kitchen to go for.....

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.11 PM

Hi, I’m looking into a new kitchen (traditional looking one) and was hoping for some advice from professionals on the quality of the different brands available. They all look beautiful in the showrooms but I’m sure that the quality differs. Thank you all in advance

Most kitchens from the larger DIY shops are of similar quality, though one point to look out for is whether you have any services running along the walls as the IKEA kitchens are deeper and go right to the wall where other companies allow a gap behind the back of the floor units and the wall for services to be run without being seen

We have never had any problems with either, Howdens or Magnet and have fitted a few from Wickes, which were of good quality. Good Sturdy Units from all of them, but Choosing from Howdens or Magnet is preferable as the customer care is better

Ok I might be slightly Biased, but check out your local tradesmen and smaller independent suppliers because actually they can be cheaper than the major 'brands'. Sometimes smaller is better as more of the cost of the kitchen goes towards the actual kitchen, and less towards expensive TV ads and showrooms
