My combi boiler is leaking from outside pipe

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 2.55 PM

Every day I have to increase the pressure as it falls below the recommended 1bar so just before putting the heating on I will try to increase this slightly. This morning I noticed that the little pipe that looks like a ubend coming out and then back into the wall is leaking water when the heating is on. Is this normal? Is this an overflow and therefore nothing to worry about? I have never noticed it before and everything else inside and underneath is bone dry.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

That pipe going out the wall is the pressure relief pipe. Get a gas engineer in to have a look at what the problem could be Dave
