Can I build a chimney in an existing extension
Anonymous user 14/03/2024 - 2.35 PM
I,m thinking of buying a 1960's semi which has an extension across the back of the house. Is it possible to put a chimney in so that I could have a fire in there?

yes it is possible as long as the stack can reach above roof line. if it is a single storey extension you may consider a wood burner with an exterior flue.
