Would appreciate your advice on how to make watertight the seal between tiles and shower tray?
Recently had shower installed but there was a 10-15mm gap in which filler/sealant was used.
This has since developed a hairline crack along top edge, and a small leak developed outside of enclosure. There is a sealux aqua strip behind the tiles so I assume the water is tracking along this and exiting via the skirting board but not actually penetrating the plaster behind.
Was looking at http://www.byretech.com/acatalog/ShowerSeal-Ultra-10-Half-Seal.html but this would not be deep enough, as given the 10mm lip of the tray and then the gap between the tiles and tray lip I would require something 25mm deep.
I can send images if that would make problem clearer....

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?
I would start by removing what is there now.
Then get some expanding foam to fill the gap. This will create a watertight seal and fill any gaps you are not aware of too.
Let that go off for a few hours, the longer the better, then cut this back and put a sealant on of your choice that looks appropriate.

It's fantastic stuff and I use it exclusively. This and it's sister adhesive. It's so good I have a gate post held to a wall with the adhesive and it has held for nearly four years!

Normally I would fit the shower tray prior to tilling and tile flush to the top of the shower tray using appropriate/water resistant adhesive & grout and where possible 'tank' behind the tiles where the shower is intended to go or at least behind the areas most prone to water build-up. With this procedure, all that is then required is a silicone sealant mastic bead around the line between the bottom tile run and the shower tray. In the event that the shower tray sits proud of the tiled wall, I would fit timber or plastic boxing to bring the tiles at the base out and fit snugger over the critical line between the tiling and the shower tray.
