sulphur stains in toilet pan

Anonymous user 14/03/2024 - 2.35 PM

How do I remove bad sulphur stains from toilet pan. I have tried bleach, bi-carb, and soda crystals. The stains run down the inside of pan when water flushes. Only happens in upstairs toilet.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi, are you sure it is Sulphur?? (would be very unusual) I would have thought it is more likely Lime Scale which you can easily remove with Viacal or Harpic(Black) Regards Simon

Get a bottle of 'Killrock' limescale remover, used for descaling kettles etc. Pour over the limescale stain and leave, then rinse off. Ventilate the room as it gives off a very potent smell.
