What's the best insulation board

My bedroom is above my garage but there is a cold draught coming through my floor making my roof realy cold could I put insulation boards on the ceiling of the garage roof to stop draught

The easiest solution would be to fit insulated plasterboard to the ceiling, then get it skimmed, skimming will seal all the joints to prevent draughts.
