Turn off dhw inlet on boiler??
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.09 PM
Our combi boiler is constantly heating water as there is a problem with our shower, which is constantly running. Is there any problem if I turn off the DHW inlet tap, to disable hot water, but allow the central heating to work, until I can get shower fixed?

The dhw pipe is an outlet pipe, not an inlet pipe and you can turn it off but it will turn off all of the hot water in the house.
Your shower should have isolation valves which would be a better solution?
