Hi we have just completely decorated a small bedroom one wall in the outside corner of the house. we have used the correct paint and recently had the concrete gutters and rendering on the outside of the house done. when we moved in we noticed that there was mould behind the wardrobe and in the corner of the wall and we seriously thought after all the work being done that would cured it but no i have constantly got the humidifer on to draw the water from the room what a disappointment the carpet is also suffering as it spreads that is the answer please

You say the external work was completed recently and no doubt with a decent waterproof render. The problem is the internal plaster should have been removed and the brickwork dried out fully then a waterproof render applied so that any moisture is repelled towards the outside wall. Also as JM Damp says condensation can be an issue is your wardrobe covering an air vent? all rooms need airflow whether its opening windows a little etc.
