Shower and boiler water temperature and pressure issue

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.09 PM

Hi Over last few weeks I have been experiencing a water pressure issue with my combi boiler where every few days the water pressure drops and the boiler cuts out. I re pressurise system and boiler fires up fine. I believe there must be a small leak somewhere but can't yet find it from checking radiators etc. Today I now have an issue with my aqualisa electric shower as water trickles out cold and then pressure increases but water is boiling hot then seems to trip out as too hot then no water and same cycle over and over. It doesnt matter what temperature setting is on the shower, same problem. I have cleaned out handset and tried running withut the flex hose. Other electric shower which is rarely used works fine. Could these be linked? 3 year old new build house. Any advice would be appreciated.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Your problem is very easy to inspect and clarified . - the pressure dropped if you have a leaks in the system ???? where is the leaks ?? 1 - radiator valve ? some toilet papers around the valve for about 10min 2 - pipe work joint leaks or damaged pipe ?? you will see the sign of dump. 3 - inside the boiler pipe fitting ?? wet underneath the boiler 4 - Pressure relief valve ?? water dripping from the pipe out side the property . 5 - expedition vessels ?? the diaphragm damaged and the pressure going very high when the boiler working so it's open the PRV to adjust the pressure
