noisy tap in the ground floor bathroom

MY GROUND FLOOR BATHROOM TAP IS MAKING NOISE. WHEN I OPEN THE BATH TAP IT STOPS AND AFTER A WHILE IT START AGAIN. HOW CAN I STOP THIS?

Sounds like a water hammer, try re-seating and re-washering taps if not replacement taps may be necessary

This is generally a ball valve in your house needing a new washer or replacing. could be a toilet or in the roof tank !
