3m consevatory to already 3m double storey extended sem property

Hi , I want to know if it is possible to have a conservatory to existing semidetached house. It has a double storey rear extension for 3 m. I want to extend it to just have a conservatory. I asked a architect and he told me that chances are very less. Please let me know if it is possible to add a conservatory. I live in watford.

What you are doing is adding an extension to an extension, would say you would need planning permission
