Bathroom extractor pipes storing water

I've recently noticed the bathroom extractor pipes which lead out of the roof seem to be collecting water where they bend, ie some of the pipes before exiting the roof snake into a U-shape where water is storing. I've removed the pipes from the roof on a rainy day and could not see that rain water was seeping through the roof tiles? Heard of lagging the pipes but not sure what this involves or how I should do this to help stop condensation within the pipes? Any ideas what could be causing this and the potential fix?

as the pipe is un insulated the air temperature drops to below dew point and water vapour condenses out and collects in the bend, replace the pipe with insulated one or diy it your self with sufficient wool type insulation wrapped around the whole length of pipe to reduce heat loss and keep suspended water molecules in the exhaust air.

quite normal for the pipes to collect moisture its the condensation trying to escape,

It will be condensation not rain water, lagging the pipes will help but it is likely that it will still happen

It's condensation, basically steam turning back to water as it cools, if there is a bend in the Pope it,s an ideal resevoir.
