How long before having shower after re-grouting tiles

Hi all, Going to remove the current dirty mouldy grout tonight then re-grout my existing tiles in the shower cubicle.. How long should I leave the grout to dry for before taking a shower? Would 12 hours be enough to have a quick shower the next morning? Thanks.

Grout will be fully hardened after twenty four hours so really wouldn't have shower until the evening. Really shower cubicle should be siliconed also before using

Hi. Most grouts set quite rapidly. I always recommend leaving it 24 hours, but a lot of people probably don't before they jump in the shower.

Hi, I always recommend 24 hours minimum (the longer the better) I don't personally think 12 hours is enough, iv seen some manufacturers recommend an 8 day curing time! I would suggest reading the manufactures recommendation on the back of the grout package. The rule of thumb...keep it as dry as possible for as long as possible :) Kind Regards Shane
