What qualities should i be looking for in bath tub paint?

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 2.54 PM

Im looking to paint the interior of my acrylic bathtub in a copper effect, however im not able to find a copper coloured 'bath tub paint'. im wondering if its possible to buy a copper coloured paint that isnt necessarily a bath tub paint, but im not sure what qualities i need to be looking for in the paint, i.e oil-based etc?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi. Sorry, never painted the inside of a bathtub in over 20 years as a decorator, have you tried the site below? http://www.victorianplumbing.co.uk/news/how-to-paint-an-acrylic-bath.aspx

Dont you'll regret it. Toilet fittings should be sanitary & anything but the original finish on an acrylic bath is NOT acceptable.
