I want to to take out old timber floor and do concrete slab with insulation

Foundation of cottage are concrete .timber floor with gap of 400 mm. I need to backfill and sand before I put my 150 mm insulation and 100 mm concrete slab .I want to do that during this winter but every loads of 804 and sand will be delivered wet . is there any other option than backfill stones aor sand

Hi u need to dig out 100 m need 250m of tipe one menbraine 150 insulation 100 m slab and only if ground is good so get it checked first

Hi, you could use Lytag as a dry, easy to move,non compressible back-fill, but it would be much more expensive. Regards Simon
