I have a loose toilet seat

Hi, Sorry if this seems like a stupid question. The toilet seat keeps coming loose and while we have tried screwing it back in place, it only works for a short while and then loosens again. Do I need to replace the toilet seat or is there something else that needs fixing? Thanks

Obvious the screws and fixings are worn.time to buy yourself a new loo seat.The same problem i had,i recycled the bits i could then thrown the rest in the bin.

replace toilet seat with new one. screws thread might not be holding properly or has broken teeth .
