Each LED unit will have a spec sheet or plate stating the wattage rating. The transformer, as you stated can handle up to 60 watts. Therefore the number of LED lights* that can be wired into the circuit from this transformer is 60/LED wattage. * Be sure the lamps are rated for the corresponding voltage supplied. LED lights have a low wattage consumption often around 5W for downlighters. This would give you a safe number of around 10 units for 5W lamps. NOTE: halogen downlighters have a high watt consumption, be sure they are LED in any case in this instance. Also many of today's LED downlighters come complete with regulated supply transformers, either integrated or in series to the supply, small and neat and in my opinion the best option for safety and regs.

I can tell you only one without see the transformer. because we have a two many differet transformers , I know one of them we can use five spot lights.
