Boiler cutting out but not coming back on

Our back combo boiler has been serviced and we thought we may have pressure problems. At first when showering or running a bath we had to turn the hot tap right up and then almost down off to keep the water hot. Now it seems to be getting worse. If the heating cuts out it doesn't cut back on. If u r running a bath the hot water cuts out and the boiler won't re fire unless u do a manual reset. It always seemed better when the heating was on but now it doesn't help. It's now just short bursts of hot water gets to 40/50 cuts out manual reset sometimes Pilot light won't come back on. Any ideas as the plumber has changed the manga etc...
