Hi. Recently purchased a house and it seems to attach the washing machine we need to slide forward the current dishwasher to attach pipes. Dishwasher is secured to the bench by a bracket with a star headed screw. Is there a particular tool to purchase to remove this screw?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi, if you have a multi-head screwdriver you can purchase the star bits, they are known as Torx-bits and come in various sizes T15, T20, T25 & T30. These can be purchased from B&Q, for a high cost, however, a power tool specialist will sell them for about 30p each. If you can not remove the screw using this method, you need to find someone who has an battery powered impact driver. Hope this helps Julian
