PILOT LIGHT

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.08 PM

Hi, my pilot light keeps going out. It only happens when we have the heating and water on, not if we just have the water on. We have had the thermacouple changed, not worked, we've had the overheat stat changed, thats not worked. It's like the boiler can't take both heating and hot water.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Sounds like you have a blockage on your central heating pipe work causing the boilers high limit stat to kick in, drain boiler and undo/remove the flow and return isolater valves (22mm) check they are clean, sometimes they have a gauze in them,
