I have a big problem with damp and mould on interior walls, ceilings upstairs and in the loft on the roof joists, roof felt and ceiling joists can you help me.The property is a semi detached house built in 1934.Can any one give me advice on how to get rid of problem,as it has been clean off with 3 in 1 mould killer, but still comes back

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

The roof isn't breathing, the ventilation for it is blocked somehow. Either unvented upvc fascia boards have been put up or internal loft insulation has been tucked into the edges of the roof. There needs to be a clear ventilation pathway from one side of the roof to the other.

1.Check for tile slippage and missing tiles / lead flashing a guttering/water leaks 2.Lack of free air movement in loft area check for ventilation. 3.Suggest fitting a PIV in stairhead to get rid of condensation issues.
