What is the name of white coating around kitchen units?

Would someone be able to tell me what the white plastic like coating that covers kitchen units is called. For example, the strips that line the front edge in between the oven and cupboard have come off in the heat and I want to replace the strip. Thanks

Hi there, It's usually called 'iron on' edging . Which is a little wider than than the edge you cover , as the name suggest you iron on as much as you need to activate the glue and trim with a file or trimming tool. You use a dry iron and just be careful. Hope this helps
