How do I connect a wind turbine output to my property so that if there is not enough wind to turn the turbine the normal electric supply cuts in automatically

Use a changeover switch! May also need invertors and safety isolators. This is a highly specialised area and is not for DIY. The work is fully notifiable to LABC building control and without Part P building regulation consent in place its a £5000 fine.
