Electrical

Built under combination microwave ovens.

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.08 PM

Have recently had a kitchen fitted the space was left for me in case at a later day I wanted to fit a built under oven or a built-in built under combination microwave oven. The back panel was taken out of the base unit There is space above the plinth for the air intake but some manufacturers say there should be holes drilled in the worktop and others say there isn't any need and that there as not been any problems. Can you help me with this query?. Yours sincerely, Vincent 4. Thank you for quick reply. I have had that many answers to my query, I am having a built in built under combination microwave oven fitted under the worktop and not a oven. Could you please confirm your answer again in case I misled you with my query. Thank you again, Yours sincerely, vincent4

Well I've never seen holes in the worktop for a built in oven before and I have fitted 1000's of built in ovens over the last 30 years so I'd say its overkill and no holes are required.
