Hot water pressure fine intially but reduces to a trickle in the bath
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.08 PM
We have a regular boiler, not combi, no cold tank and large hot tank in airing cupboard in bathroom. Recently we noticed that although the initial pressure of hot water into the bath is good, it reduces to a trickle and we can't get any hot water out of the kitchen tap or bathroom sink if the bath is running..... When not running a bath, the kitchen hot water pressure is good, but the bathroom sink hot water pressure is a little down... It's driving us mad!

It could be two things u might have an airlock on the pipework , u jus need to remove the air from the water , you also might need a pump because it is gravity feed system and the pressure is never great.
