can hear a dripping noise in bedroom when it rains. Can't find evidence of leak??

I can hear a very loud dripping when it rains in our master bedroom. We have looked in the loft and can't see a leak or water anywhere. I'm not sure whether to get a roofer out to have a look or whether to get a builder to come and inspect it. It is so loud it is driving me crazy. We are an end terrace house. Next door is slightly higher then us.

Check your gutters are not leaking, I have one that drives me nuts when in my office during rainfall....that reminds me....must fix my own!

hi you may have a blocked gutter/downpipe causing rain to overflow which would give you a dripping sound or possibly next doors gutter discharges into yours??????
