radiator luke warm at bottom after moving radiator and increased in size
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.08 PM
Hi, I've moved a radiator from one wall to another, and increased the rad in size. Since doing so my new rad warms up at the top, but only gets luke warm at the bottom. I've flushed the rad out twice, and put cleaner into the system. And bled the whole system but the rad does not get hot all the way through. Any solutions to this problem would be gratefuly appreciated. alan.

Hi your system is now out of balance. Turn your heating on maximum, turn all radiators off except you problem radiator it will soon start heating up the whole radiator once it is evenly hot all over your radiator turn your other radiators back on one at a time to your required setting and let your heating run for awhile. This should then solve your problem.
