Professional advice for choosing (high gloss white) kitchen units

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 2.53 PM

Hello there, I’m interested in (high gloss white) kitchen units; I have a few questions and need a professional advice before I can make an decision . 1. Which type of material for kitchen units is best for a lot of steam cooking? Gloss and Matt Slab Vinyl, Lacquered Slab Gloss, Foil Wrapped Over Painted, or Acrylic 2. Can I use Base Highline Corner Unit instead of sink units, because my sink needs to be at the corner? What kind of unit do I need to order for my sink? 3. Do I need a gap or not? If so, how big of a gap do I need in between the units? (When hot will they expand or, shrink when cold and also when I add an end panel) E.g. Can I order a 400mm and 600mm wide, two units to fit 1000mm wide space? 4. I also need a canopy for a 900 wide integrated extractor what kind of wall units do I need for it? I am unable to find it online. 5. What kind of Panels and Mouldings do I deed for handless kitchen and handle Kitchen? 6.Does anyone know Welford white gloss Handleless, remo white gloss and Howden High golss white kitchen, which one is better? Thank you, in advance for your help.

Hi Jobdone_88. That's a lot of questions and potential answers/challenges. 1. If gloss go for lacquered, matt go for MFC, but this could be sorted with the right extractor. 2. Yes you can, depends on the type of sink, size and position. Another issue is worktops joints and the jointing bolts underneath. 3. Not sure what you mean exactly but here goes. Units will not shrink or expand, yes any combination of sizes is fine if the add up to the gap you have. End panels vary in size depending on the supplier, style and finish. 4. Canopy extractors - the good ones are normally deeper than standard wall units so you need extra deep wall units, this will also affect the other wall units and in particular the corner "L" shaped wall units. 5. Again not too sure of what you mean by that but the should be matched with what ever door you choose from the manufacturer. 6. Remo White Gloss is good, however there are alternatives, Nova handle less, Lucente handle less. I hope this helps although the post is very old. If you require please contact again.
