Part exchanging my house - do I need a gas safe certificate for boiler?

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.08 PM

Hi, I'm in the process of part exchanging my house with Taylor Wimpey. The house I am selling in 7 years old in December and the boiler is original never had a problem with it. TW are asking me to provide a gas safety certificate for the boiler, does this sound right? I have the initial installation certificate will that do or do I have to provide a new one? Is this a legal requirement? Thanks

Yes you will need a gas safety certificate done for the property, this should include all gas appliances and the gas pipework.
