Would a decorator just do part of the job
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.08 PM
We have just started to strip the wallpaper in our hallway and I am daunted by the drop over stairs (estimated at about 16 ft) If we complete taking the paper off and fill in the blemishes we have found, would I be able to get someone in to simply hang the wallpaper (probably blown vinyl) as I don't think either of us could do it well enough (if at all) If a decorator could do it what would be the estimated time (house is 1930s semi in West London) Any advice would be welcome.

Sounds like you need too get a small little scaffold in there.
It maybe possible for us to that for you.
Are you able to send us a photo?
Kind Regards,

Hello,
You could use a small scaffold as above but I'm not sure a small scaffold would be quite necessary for a stair drop. There are many stair ladders used by decorators to do this. If it is just the stair drop area and surrounding area this shouldn't take more than a day.
All the best
