Bath shower only gives luke water (Ideal Isar combi boiler)

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.07 PM

I recently moved into the flat, and mixer tap is installed in the bathroom for hand wash basin, bathtub and shower. When I first turn on the shower, the water becomes hot for few seconds and then turns into luke water, there is a thermometer on the tab that allows me to adjust the temperature between 38 degrees and 48 degrees, I tried to adjust this temperature but the water temperature doesn't change. The Ideal Isar combi boiler is installed and the water is run by gas. There is also a mixer tab on the bathtub, I turned on the hot water tab for few times, and it only gives luke water that's slightly colder than what the shower gives. Can anyone shed some lights into this matter please? I would really love to take a hot bath in this weather. Much appreciated.

Make sure your hot water setting on the boiler is set high enough. If its sets high and still the water is still luke warm then the boiler will need some attention .
