REMOVING THE BOX THAT COVERS STAIR BULK HEAD IN THE SMALL BEDROOM

Anonymous user 03/03/2024 - 2.38 PM

HI, currently in the process of starting work in the small bedroom, this houses a box that covers the stair bulk head. the job i have currently been pricing up is for a bed (like a cabin bed) to be built to incorporate this box to free up much needed room for my daughter, i just want to know is it possible to remove this box ( i know would leave a slope but would that still be strong enough to build a bed on top of) and is this then a much bigger job? thanks

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi Dave You can remove the boxing and expose the bulk head, it will need some larger timbers to carry any weight, should'nt be a problem though. Regards Cleverley Contractors
