Can I cap and hide pipes from radiator removed?

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.07 PM

I recently took my radiator off the wall in my room so I still have the two rubber pipes and values sticking through the wall, is there anyway to cap these off for added protection as I don't really want the valves to eventually work themselves open somehow and destroy the house, if that can be done can I push them down the gap in the wall as there's no skirting board so there's a 2 inch gap were the flooring meets wall behind were the skirting will go and where the pipes come from anyway? Thanks :)

See link below, choose either 1/2" or 3/4" BSP female brass cap end depending on the size of your rad valves where they couple up to the radiator fitting, plus fibre washers to suit, which are placed inside the brass cap ends: http://www.toolstation.com/shop/p78040 copy paste link into your browser
