Short term fix for cracked wet room

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.07 PM

Hello, Looking for some advice please; Our bathroom is a wet room and has cracks in the floor including in the actual shower area. We are due to have the whole thing ripped out and a new bathroom installed mid-late November. Yesterday however I saw that water was actually dripping from the first floor where the bathroom is through the ceiling down onto the ground floor after the shower had been used. It was not an extensive amount but enough to drip and enough to have me concerned!! Is there any product I can use to fill the cracks as a short term fix to avoid as little water damage as possible? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

As a very short term fix I would try some silicone. Steve

As a temporary fix I would use MAPESIL SILICONE SEALANT, MAPESIL is available also in different colours, maybe you can match your tiles.
