I have an internal door (the door to a bedroom on the first floor of our house) that is sticking and now will not close. How can I get some advice ? I'm sure it's nothing but would just like to be reaussred by someone who knows.

A carpenter local to you would be a good idea, or post a few photos on here and I could help.it could be a number if things Sometimes doors swell, or could be the screws have come loose on the hinge. Try wobbling the door whilst open to see if there is excessive movement in the hinge . Hope this sort of helps

There could be different reasons why the door is catching when you close it to.
1) Door has swelled (As timber does in winter with moisture)
2) Screws loose on hinges (Causing door to move closer to the closing side)
3) Door could be catching at the bottom if you've had new carpets fit.
Hope this helps.
