if i have a new extension and the roof is 22.5 pitch, can i use 35 degree tiles?

this is doing my brain in as im being told two things here

No, you are going against the manufacturers recommendations. If your pitch is 22.5 then you need to ensure the MINIMUM PITCH recommended by the tile manufacturer is adhered to otherwise in approximately 10 years it will leak due to wind driven rain perishing the under tile felt. If however 35 is the max pitch you are okay BUT check what the minimum pitch is, contact the manufacturers tech team direct if necessary.

yes there are tiles that can be laid at 22degrees and lower down to12.5 degrees namely centurion tiles
