Changing a glass wall in conservatory to a brick wall
Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 2.52 PM
I'd like to change one of the glass walls in my conservatory to a brick one (backs on to party fence so no view to spoil) to make it warmer and more like an extension. I would then have two sides with glass walls, one full brick walls and the original house wall. Is this possible and what would need to be done? I'm also thinking of having the roof replaced with one of the new lightweight roofs on the market. What is recommended for a 3x4m room?

It quite straight forward to remove one side and install a cavity wall
Be aware though that you will loose some internal space due to the thickness of the wall
The best lightweight solid roof is a guardian roof
But as this is a brand name there are cheaper alternatives which are just as good
