Is there anything I can paint on dried out plaster that will put the moisture back in?

Is there something that you can paint on dried out plater, which puts the moisture back in, which would save me having to strip the whole walls of the plaster and re doing the whole room.

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Hi There If the plaster is old and dried out then you need to strip, otherwise you can try to use a stabilizer, but this would be to risky, you could spend a lot of money decorating then it still fails, bite the bullet and spend your money having it replastered. Regards Joseph
