Not sure if i need a like for like lime fighter for my boiler?

Need a new LIFF 15mm LIME-FIGHTER for my boiler but not sure if a like for like is required plus the cylinders come in different sizes but state they're 15mm in length but different width?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?
