Any good cooker hood around £150 excl installation cost?

Hi, I was looking to install a 90cm chimney cooker hood, I am prepare to spend £150 for the cooker hood excluding installation cost, any good recommendation? Aesthetic not important but must be good at extracting grease and odours. Many thanks. Kind regards, James

Hi James. External ducting is essential. Try your local howdens branch , for the costs you have indicated. Should find one for your budget, but trade only so might need to open account. Mark emmpire. Construction ltd

The best extraction is via an external vent, The extractor should be ducted through an outside wall, not recirculating through charcoal filters. Once you have decided on the ducting, the wattage of the extractor motor is the next step, a big motor (high watt) will cope with prolonged usage.
