When bleeding a radiator, the screw has come out of the radiator

When bleeding two upstairs radiators the bleed screws have come out of the radiators. We have tighten the screws back up on the radiators, but now we can't bleed the radiators as the screws come out when we do. Is this a task that we could do ourselves, or do we need to get a plumber to fix this? Thanks

you can buy a bleed valve from any plumbing merchants. the hardest part is removing the old valve and there are tools to do this. isolate both sides of the radiator and bleed off water then with the tool unscrew the old bleed valve and be aware there will be a little bit of water don,t panic it will stop and then screw your new bleed valve back into radiator.open radiator valves on each end and bleed radiator until its full and then check other radiators incase of lose of water and re pressure boiler if required to the correct bar (job done)
