Electric shower fault - at right temperature water doesn’t have enough flow

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.07 PM

I cannot get the shower to the right temperature. I can change the flow of the water and temperature fine but to get the right temperature the water then does not have enough flow to get a proper shower. Is this shower at the end of its life or can I repair this?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

Generally electric showers have an element can with iwo elements hence usually two power settings. If it is not reaching full temp at normal flow rate this is usually a sign that one of the elements has blown. At this point realistically its almost always more cost effective to just replace the whole unit than to repair.

All electric shower does is slow the water to allow it to heat and increase water to cool etc . Showers I use are Mira advance extra and triton t100 care are In my opinion one of the best to go for
