How long should I wait and how do I seal new plaster before painting?
Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.07 PM
Having just had a wall re plastered that I intend to paint with emulsion, the plaster is drying out nicely but I wondered how long I should wait before attempting to apply any paint? Also I understand that I will need to seal the new plaster first but I am not sure how to do this. All advice is welcomed, Thanks

Wait until the plaster is fully dry without any damp spots
there is special paint for new plaster readily available.. but you can also water down normal emulsion
