Noise as if theres a loose wire from cooker socket

The socket for the cooker with the red button, sometimes when turned on it can make a fuzz type noise as if theres a loose wire or something. Never fused but doesnt seem right

Sounds like a loose connection or the switch mechanism is arcing inside. As this could be a potential fire risk, its worth getting it checked out asap.

Sounds like a loose terminal or faulty switch. You could check the terminals for tightness or replace the switch if that does not do the trick. IMPORTANT: DO NOT FORGET TO ISOLATE THE CIRCUIT AND CHECK ITS SAFE(NO CURRENT)PRIOR TO WORKING ON IT. If in any doubt about your ability contact a registered electrician to test/repair.
