Changing design of kitchen - Moving my kitchen sink

I would like to move my kitchen sink along a few feet. Is it hard as i want to change design of my kitchen?

Are you a tradesperson and able to answer this question?

No it's not too difficult but you would need new worktops and the plumbing inside the cabinet would obviously have to be extended to a new position! You would have to take into consideration the tiling as these might have to come off to put new tops in.

Moving the sink over a few feet would be a straightforward task as part of a full kitchen re-fit. The plumbing would need to be moved over, which can all be run in the service voids at the back of the units. Another thing to consider would be electrical sockets, when moving the sink over, it is important that the edge of the sink is a minimum of 300mm from any electrical socket, so if moving the sink were to bring it within 300mm of an electrical socket, the socket would need to be moved.
