Ceiling extractor fan for windowless bathroom?

Anonymous user 28/02/2024 - 3.07 PM

Help! What is the most powerful and silent ceiling mounted extractor fan, to be separate from light switch, for a windowless bathroom without breaking the bank? No exterior walls as mid terraced house. There are different reviews on various products including Vent Axia. Thanks.

Silent and Powerful = expensive. So if your on a budget and can't stretch to a £100 to £200 fan then you will need to either compromise on noise or power. Ideally the best option would be an inline fan mounted on rubber isolation dampers to reduce transient noise and vibration. The unit could then be mounted in the loft space and ducted to the outside wall.

I use a vortice lineo 100.(around £70) which is usually mounted in the loft area. For a windowless bathroom the fan is required to be a timer model wired to operate with the lights and have its own isolation switch (3 pole).
