Can latex flooring be laid directly on top of existing ceramic tiles?

Anonymous user 23/02/2024 - 2.52 PM

I have been recommended to use latex flooring in my kitchen. My question is can this be laid directly on top of existing ceramic tiles, would it show the grout lines and would it cause a ridge by the doors? appreciate your advice regards David

Yes you can latex over ceramic tiles as long as the tiles have been installed to a good standard and you have no damp plus you have to use floor primer. Use a paint roller and primer on your tiled floor do not add water to primer.
